The ALEXYS™ Analyser represents an advanced UHPLC system equipped with electrochemical detection, tailored to meet the most stringent requirements for detection sensitivity and overall performance for carbohydrate analysis. This modular ALEXYS system comprises several key components, including eluent tray, (U)HPLC pump, autosampler, column thermostat, and electrochemical detector. The selection of modules is tailored to match specific applications, aiming for optimal performance, easy usability, and reduced cost of ownership.

 

The ALEXYS Carbohydrate Analyser is based on High Performance Anion Exchange Chromatography with Pulsed Amperometric Detection (HPAE-PAD). With a Helium degassing kit for carbon dioxide free mobile phase, this assures the most stable and sensitive analysis conditions. Applications are available for carbohydrate analysis in food, beverages, plants, lactose free products, glycoproteins and others. Detection limits as low as 10 nmol/L can be obtained.
