Established in 2009 by Managing Director Ken Rirsch, Verulam Scientific takes its name from the historic Roman city of Verulamium (modern-day St. Albans), where the company was originally founded. Since its inception, the business has grown steadily—from a small specialist service provider into a recognised supplier of advanced analytical instrumentation and services.
In 2017, the company relocated to modern, centrally located facilities in Haynes, near Bedford. From this base, Verulam Scientific has built a highly skilled team of industry professionals dedicated to supporting customers across the UK.
