This application note outlines the use of KNAUER’s innovative Impingement Jets Mixing (IJM) benchtop system for formulating lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) with suitable size and polydispersity index (PdI) for various nucleic acid payloads.
The authors conducted measurements of Z-average size and polydispersity index for lipid nanoparticles created by IJM and microfluidic herringbone mixers to evaluate formulation reproducibility and efficiency. The findings also include transfection outcomes.
Application Details:
- Method: Lipid nanoparticle formulation (encapsulation)
