Verulam Scientific are pleased to announce that we will be attending the fourth, biannual one-day meeting on the Advances in the Chemical Analysis of food IV, taking place on Friday 26th April at Burlington House, London.
The food industry is the largest manufacturing sector in the UK and is key to a successful UK economy. The analytical sciences, in particular separation science, plays an important role in understanding the chemical composition of food – ensuring food is safe, authentic, nutritious, and enjoyable. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss, share and celebrate the application of separation sciences to food.
Verulam scientific represent many companies including LCTech and Antec who provide automated sample preparation / extraction and analysis. LCTech’s Freestyle automated SPE system (Food and feed analysis made easy with Sample clean-up products by LCTech) is unrivalled in automating the extraction and analysis of mycotoxins and other contaminants with minimum interaction between the analyst and these toxic components. Antec released the SWEETSEP column (SweetSep – Antec Scientific) this year allowing the easy separation of sugars, carbohydrates, oligosaccharides and the structural analysis of protein glycosylation using High-Performance Anion Exchange (HPAE).
Sean O’Connor will be there representing Verulam Scientific Ltd and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
