Named after the Roman city of Verulamium later known as St. Albans in which it was originally based. The company was founded on 11th May 2009 by Ken Rirsch, the present managing director, and has steadily grown from a small service group to a leading supplier of innovative analytical equipment and services.

Verulam Scientific supports National Medical laboratory Week as we know how hard the staff work in these labs to support public health care. We specifically focus on supporting our customers working with electrochemical detection, liquid chromatography, and automated liquid handling and sample preparation.

Verulam Scientific Ken Rirsch, Dr. Andrew Reeder and Laura Juskaite were thrilled to be invited over to our partners Axel Samrau in Germany last week.

This week our Sales Representative, Sean O'Connor, was invited by the Chemistry Team at Ousedale School, Newport Pagnell.

Denise has many years of experience and we very much look forward to her joining the ever growing Verulam Scientific family.
