At Verulam, we like to ensure good customer service and so when we get a new piece of equipment to install for a customer, we like to get it out the box and make sure it’s all working ahead of delivering and installing at the customer site. This ensures that our engineers are quick and efficient on site, and we can sort any problems ahead of time.

Since moving to our new address, we have added a demo area where we have more room to set up and test instruments. Today, Darren Chan, Service Engineer and Christine Townsend, Technical Support Manager, have been testing the Hudson SciClops Microplate Handler (SciClops – Benchtop Cylindrical Microplate Handler for Lab Automation (hudsonrobotics.com)), soon to be installed on a customer site.

Once installed the SciClops robotic arm will enable continuous plate loading of an advanced flow cytometry platform.

Watch this space as we develop the demo lab for applications, training, and customer visits.
