Another successful #installation completed! Verulam Scientific ‘s engineers Paul Stephens and Darren Chan, along with technical support manager Christine Townsend, installed another Chronect XPR powder dosing instrument at a state of the art customer facility.

 

Verulam Scientific are proud to work with Mettler Toledo and Axel Semrau to supply the Chronect XPR automated powder dosing instrument in the UK.

 

Weighing is one of the most common and time-consuming tasks in a laboratory. Whether it is dispensing small amounts of powders, gravimetric preparation of multiple reference standards analyses or the filling of capsules, laboratories are under huge pressures to deliver accurate and reproducible weighings daily. With automation these machines can get this done not only during the day but also outside of working hours allowing solutions and powders to be available when required with no repeats reqruired reducing delays quite often experienced in the laboratory.

 

This CHRONECT XPR is one of the simpler systems but takes over the weighing process for up to 32 powders in up to 288 vessels under the fume hood which means increased analyst #safety too.
