Getting Started with Miralys

AmberGen and Verulam Scientific recognises the challenges of integrating new technology. That’s why we strive to ensure your success by providing:

• Guidance on reagent selection
• Pre-staining and image review meetings
• A comprehensive Miralys workflow protocol

 

Starter Kits

Our starter kit includes everything necessary to implement the Miralys MALDI HiPLEX-IHC workflow in your lab, featuring validation slides and a probe mix that enables you to conduct initial Miralys runs without depleting valuable samples. The kit consists of:

• A UV-Photocleavage light box validated for use with our workflow.
• A six-plex panel of probes, with a choice between Neurology (mouse brain) or Immunology (human tonsil) kits.
• Three FFPE tissue slides:
  • One slide pre-stained with the six-plex Miralys probe mixture, provided to optimize your MALDI-MS imaging parameters.
  • Two unstained slides for hands-on training with the slide immunohistochemical staining protocol, originating from the same tissue block.
• All necessary small laboratory items for executing our protocol.

When you purchase a Miralys Starter Kit, you also receive extensive support, we will guide you through the protocol and share useful tips for an optimal experience.

 

Training

We encourage every new Miralys user to take advantage of AmberGen and Verulam Scientific one-hour training session via teams. During this session we will…

• Review the Miralys protocol
• Offer practical advice
• Address any questions you may have

Following your initial Miralys run, we will conduct a follow-up session to evaluate your initial images and troubleshoot any issues. For those who desire further training, we can also provide full-day, on-site sessions to assist you at every step of the protocol.
