Electrochemical detection (ECD) for HPLC or UHPLC / UPLC is an extremely selective and sensitive detection technique that is applied in several analyses such as the neurotransmitters dopamine, serotonin and noradrenalin, or analytes such as 5HIAA, catecholamines and metanephrines.
