Biogas Production? We have Solutions
Biogas, produced through biological processes from raw materials such as agricultural waste, manure, plant material etc, is a renewable energy source and its role is growing in sustainable energy production. Depending on production source, a wide range of components can be present such as methane and carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, permanent gases, sulphur components, terpenes, siloxanes and ammonia. Working with Global Analyser Solutions, Verulam Scientific offer several solutions for analysing these biogas components.
Biogas analyser configurations
Biogas analysers are available in different configurations from single valve/detector instruments to comprehensive multi-channel analysers. The configuration chosen depends on the components of interest and the required accuracy and analysis time. Biogas analysers are designed to comply with many standardised methods for natural gas analysis from GPA, ASTM, UOP, ISO, EN and others.
Extended analysis: Terpenes, siloxanes, sulphur components, ammonia
Due to the broad range of feedstocks used, biogas production can result in additional components like terpenes, siloxanes, sulphur components, ammonia, heavier hydrocarbons and others. The concentration levels depend on type of feedstock, production process and operating conditions. Optional analysis channels are available with appropriate detectors.
