SweetSep™ is a new line of High-Performance Anion Exchange (HPAE) columns for carbohydrate analysis by electrochemical detection. They are made from highly monodisperse resin particles for fast and superior separation of mono-, oligo- and polysaccharides using PAD or MS detection. SweetSep is optimized for the analysis of a wide variety of carbohydrates such as monosaccharides up to the larger oligosaccharides such as FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides) and GOS (galacto-oligosaccharides) in food. Excellent results have been obtained for structural analysis of protein glycosylation, the analysis of N-linked glycans in glycoproteins.
Three different stationary phase materials are available:
🔴 SweetSep™ AEX20: Fast & high-resolution separation of monosaccharides from food samples, including monosaccharides from glycoproteins, FDG (Fluorodeoxyglucose), Heparin, etc.
🔴 SweetSep™ AEX200: Universal column for separation of mono- to polysaccharides in food and beverage, plants and glycoproteins (glycans).
🔴 SweetSep™ AEX18: Fast high-resolution analysis of Fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) and its by-products 2-chloro-2-deoxy-D-glucose (CDG) and 2-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-mannose (FDM), according to USP and EP, based on the official EP 11.3 and USP-NF 41 (2023) methods.
