Below are two of the DECADE instruments from Antec Scientific, boasting highly sensitive electrochemical detection, compatible with any HPLC system.
The DECADE Elite is a highly sensitive electrochemical detector in HPLC applications, compatible with any third-party HPLC and UHPLC system, including Thermo Fisher Scientific, Agilent, and Shimadzu. It features a temperature-stabilised cell/column compartment and an Advanced Digital Filter (ADF) to improve the signal-to-noise ratio by up to 200 times. The DECADE Elite also offers different flow cells for optimal performance and is a suitable replacement for older ESA Coulochem II & III detectors, ensuring seamless method transfer and improved sensitivity. Its high-frequency data rate and proprietary SenCell™ make it compatible with UHPLC, capillary, and nano-LC.
The DECADE Lite boasts the same impressive performance as the Elite model, with superior ADF and temperature stability. There are a few differences between these models; the DECADE Lite has no keyboard and is controlled by free PC software. There is also the control for only one flow cell, and has DC measurement mode only. Discuss your requirements with a member of our team to ensure the instrument you choose will have maximum impact for your system.

Liquid chromatography, such as HPLC or UHPLC with electrochemical detection, is a far more selective and sensitive approach when compared to most other detection techniques.
Electrodes used in electrochemical sensors ensure that target analytes undergo a redox (reduction-oxidation) reaction, causing electrons to be transferred. This transfer of electrons produces an electrical signal, proportional to the concentration of the analyte. This concentration can then be measured and analysed.
Typical applications for electrochemical detectors are:
